Yoga is an interesting blend of strength and flexibility, sweetness and grit; dark and light; mind and body. The juxtapositions provide an endless interest to my teachings and to my personal practice. I seek to engage my students and truly yoke their minds and bodies. Engagement doesn’t translate into easy or hard but a sense of accomplishment and a desire to come back for more.

I seek to teach my student to read yoga like a book and to foster a sense of love of learning about their own practice and not in relation to others but as a personal journey to sit in stillness with themselves and be okay with it.

I came to yoga for purely the physical practice and to try and heal my body but stayed because of the power of the practice and the community that seek it.

I hope to inspire others that they can share this gift called yoga through their individuality, creativity and joy.
